On October 10, 2025, a General Assembly of Another Roadmap for Arts Education took place, together with the launch of the new Another Roadmap School website. 15 years after the initial call to respond to UNESCO’s Roadmap for Arts Education, the online conference convened members of Another Roadmap to reflect on the trajectory of the network, inform about current activities and connect to think about future connections and collaboration.
The Assembly was joined by members from, among other locations, Barcelona, Brasilia, Bogotá, Cairo, Calabar, Enugu, Helsinki, Johannesburg, Kaduna, Kampala, Kano, Lagos, Ljubljana, London, Linz, Maseru, Mainz, Mexico City, Manila, Port Harcourt, Porto, Pretoria, Quito, San Juan, Toronto and Vienna. Strongly felt was the absence of Emma Wolukau-Wanambwa, whose loss we commemorated with a tribute shared by the Another Roadmap Africa Cluster at this moment of reunion.
Steering committee members shared the outcomes and status quo of current processes in the network, such as the reflection of working with Learning Units and the un/chrono/logical timeline and the series Resonancias/Resonances. The new website was launched and modalities to continue it as a collective structure for publishing were introduced. The newsletter was also introduced.
Responding to the invitation of Thinking and Feeling Together, we shared thoughts on a digital whiteboard regarding the questions «What has kept us together until now?», «What has changed? What are we facing today in our contexts?» and «What could call us to continue?”, leading to ideas and constellations for further exchange.
