Join Us for the Second Workshop on the Learning Units!
As part of the ongoing effort to reactivate the network, various members of the coordination committee are working together to strengthen our collective work. In this context, we’re excited to announce an open second workshop focused on the learning units.
This gathering will be an opportunity to share overall progress, experiences, and reflections on these educational tools. We aim to create a participatory space where we can exchange ideas, questions, and practical suggestions about how to implement them.
Haven’t explored the learning units yet?
They’re available now on our brand-new website! Even if you haven’t applied them directly, we encourage you to join and share your thoughts—every perspective matters.
In the workshop, we’ll focus on key questions such as:
- What challenges and potential do the learning units present?
- How have we applied them, or how do we think they could be applied?
This second workshop also marks the launch of our new website, where you can now access all versions of the learning units — in both English and Spanish.
This second workshop is organized to coincide with the launch of our new website, where you will be able to access all versions — in English and Spanish — of the learning units.
On July 16th, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM (Spain, GMT+2), we will hold an initial 2.5-hour online workshop.

The workshop will consist of two parts:
- First part: Experiences with the units or feedback, both from those who designed them and other contributors. (1 hour 15 minutes)
- Second part: General discussion, exchange of ideas, and comments on what we can systematize as potential challenges and ways to apply the units.
The activity is open to any member or person involved in the network. We can also open it up to other organizations interested in participating in the discussion or attending as observers. Therefore, it’s not necessary to have used the units beforehand. That said, the main objective is to share knowledge and improve or make constructive proposals regarding the units, so we will give priority to those who are familiar with them or with the working framework.
The learning units are available here in English and Spanish.
Registration form in English and Spanish is available here.
We look forward to hearing from you over the coming weeks — the deadline is June 6th — so we can organize the first workshop.
